Why is it that "straightedges" feel the need to label themself? I'm not sure. I don't think ANYONE should label themself. It's more pathetic to me than anything else. Now, the beliefs of Straightedges are NOT; to do drugs, drinking, smoking, or having sex. Now, most of you shouldn't be doing those things anyways, not because you're "straightedge", but because most of that effects your health. You are just a normal person doing things that you shouldn't do for your health. So, why label yourself? It's stupid. You should never do as such.
Now, most of those straightedges don't even know what it is to be straightedge. Many, smoke, drink, and do drugs. I've known quite a few. What I have to say to them is if you are going to label yourself do not label yourself something you're not. I'm not a straightedge, but I do none of that at all. Because I love being myself. I'm not labeled anything, but my name. Only label I am.

I, to love anime, but I watch the dubs, why? because I do not like reading subtitles. If I knew japanese I'd watch whatever is on and I'm comfortable with, but what becomes extremely annoying is when these "anime" freaks think they are the shit because they don't watch the dubs. Not everyone likes to enjoy a show where they might as well just pick up the damn book. It's much more fulfilling that way, at least. You aren't cooler or know MORE about anime just because you don't watch the dubs. Sometimes, dubs aren't so bad. Not all of us can speak such a beautiful and difficult language as Japanese or care to read such subtitles.
Yes, I like the popular anime, why? because I can actually find it on tv and don't have to d/l the shows or buy the movies. Simple. I hate when people put down others because they like the popular animes such as; inuyasha, Sailor Moon, Cowboy bebop, Trigun, FLCL, Blue Gender, etc etc. I love all of those on the list except for Trigun, but that's just because he looks so badassed, but he doesn't have that badassed attitude more of a whimpy one.
Anyhow, my point is, you're not cool because you watch serial experiments Lain (which by the way, I do watch subtitled and all) or other subtitled shows. In fact, you're doing it half-assed. You should learn Japanese. I don't put down other people because of what they watch or even pretend to know more than others. I don't. I just enjoy WHAT I enjoy. Don't like it? No one gives a shit. So, instead of being a freaking jerk about it, why not SUGGEST other really awesome animes to watch, okay?
